Canada defeated the United States 43.5-40.5 to win the 2012 Can-Am Cup title this past weekend in Buffalo, NY. The bi-annual doubles squash tournament featured the best teams from both countries in open and age group competition.
The 2012 Can-Am Cup, the bi-annual doubles squash tournament between the United States and Canada, was held October 26-28, in Buffalo, New York. The exciting, Ryder Cup like competition, featured the best doubles teams from both countries.
With the matches all tied up after the first two rounds of team competition it came down to the Lightning Round participants to determine the champion. Canada proved too strong, particularly on the men’s side, where they won 13 of the 18 matches on Sunday, to win it’s first Can-Am Cup.You can see all the results by clicking here.
