Illingworth Wins First PSA Title

Julian Illingworth capped off a month of March that saw him hoist his fifth consecutive U.S. Squash Championship trophy by taking home his first Professional Squash Association title, stopping Jonathan Kemp in the final of the Pacific Athletic Club Squash Open sponsored by NetSuite. Illingworth, seeded fourth, also toppled #1 seeded and World # 30 Shahier Razik in the semi-finals, 11-7, 11-7, 11-0.  It was Illingworth's first tour victory over the #1 ranked Canadian player.

In the final, Illingworth, ranked # 39 in the World, upset the second seeded Kemp,taking the title with an 11-7, 11-7, 12-10, win over the #38 ranked Englishman.
