2012 U.S. Open champion Ramy Ashour returns to Philadelphia as the eight seed and will take on American wild card Chris Gordon, Sunday, October 8 at 6:30pm ET. Defending champion Mohamed Elshorbagy enters the draw as the three seed and will begin his campaign for a third U.S. Open title against a qualifier.

Women’s defending champion Camille Serme slots into the draw as the three seed, and will face American wild card Haley Mendez in the first round Sunday, October 8, at 1:45pm. U.S. champion Olivia Blatchford will take on a qualifier later that afternoon on the glass court at 5:30pm.

Three-time U.S. Open champion Nicol David opens her tournament against Australia’s Donna Urquhart Saturday, October 7, at 3:30pm on the glass court.
