Defending U.S. Middle School Team Squash champions, Baldwin School and Brunswick School, both enter this weekend’s tournament as title favorites at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut.

Philadelphia’s Baldwin is in search of the program’s third consecutive title as they chase Greenwich Academy’s record of six consecutive middle school titles. The Bears are seeded to meet Greenwich Academy Green in the semifinals and Sacred Heart, 2009 champions, in the final.

After capturing the program’s first boys’ division one title in five years in 2017, Greenwich’s Brunswick School return as the top seeds, and three teams in the top division. The Bruins are seeded to meet Bronxville, 2015 champions, in the semifinals and Haverford, the 2016 champions, in the final.

The tournament includes first-time participants Mission Squash, who will make the longest journey to Connecticut from Houston, Texas. More than three hundred players will be competing on sixty-two teams.
