Hardball singles has a long, storied history in the United States—running tournaments at the national level since 1907—and the tradition continues this week as the 2014-15 season is set.

There is an active series of ten hardball tournaments, with age group events based on both coasts—hardball can be found in Santa Fe, Santa Barbara, New York, Philadelphia, Boston, and even Washington, D.C.
