Junior Rankings

US Squash junior rankings are based on results earned in accredited points-based junior tournaments (JCT, Gold, Silver, and Bronze-level tournaments).

Junior Points Based Rankings Overview

Junior rankings are points based. Players earn points by participating in US Squash accredited junior tournaments. The number of points earned is based on the level of tournament (Gold, Silver, Bronze), the number of players a division, and a players’ finishing position at that tournament. After playing in 3+ tournaments, players will receive a point average, which is an average of the top 4 points earning tournaments played within the past 11-months. Each players’ ranking reflects his or her point average compared to the point averages of all other players in his or her age group.

In order to receive a junior national ranking, players must meet the following criteria:

  • US Squash Membership
  • Passed Age-Specific Online Referee Exam
Age Group Exam Required
U13 Level 1
U15 Level 2
U17 Level 3
U19 Level 4
  • U.S. Citizenship or Residency (as reflected by the address in player’s profile)
  • 3 active tournament exposures within the past 11-months
