US Squash adult rankings are based on player ratings. A rating is earned by playing and recording matches on Club Locker. A player needs to win at least one match and lose one match to start a rating. As more matches are recorded so the rating becomes more accurate. The rating scale ranges from 0 to 7.5 with 7.5 representing the best in the world. The average player will have a rating of about 3.5. Matches that will affect ratings include tournaments, leagues, box leagues, ladders and friendly matches. Each players' ranking reflects his or her rating compared to that of all other players in his or her age group.
Junior rankings are based on points earned in junior accredited tournaments. You can find out more information about junior rankings in the junior policies section of the website
