The Baldwin School Seeks Assistant Squash Professional

The Baldwin School in Bryn Mawr, PA, USA is an independent all-girls school teaching Pre-K through 12th grade with a nationally renowned athletic program. Located in the heart of Philadelphia’s prestigious Mainline, Baldwin’s athletic facilities include 4 squash courts, a swimming pool, 3 gyms, basketball center indoor and outdoor running tracks, outdoor tennis courts and 4 state-of-the-art outdoor fields. Baldwin is situated at the center of squash in the US, with over 1000 registered junior players, 7 top private schools and the PSA US Open all within 30mins drive.


The Baldwin School is seeking an Assistant Squash Professional to join their top-tier squash program. The successful program currently supports both a Middle School and Upper School girls squash team, as well as a cutting edge Squash Academy program. The Middle School squash team won Nationals the past two years and the Upper School Team won Nationals in 2016 and Runner Up in 2017. Both Teams hold the Regional Masa Titles with Middle School holding the current Interac Title for 2017/18. We are seeking an Assistant Squash Pro who will be responsible for the teaching, training and coaching of some of the country’s top junior players with the following team objectives:

  1. Win National Titles
  2. Expand cutting edge Academy program


The Assistant Squash Pro will assist the Director of Squash with the implementation of the Squash programs at Baldwin within the context of The Baldwin School and Athletic Philosophies. The primary responsibility of the Assistant Squash Pro will be to assist the Director of Squash in leading and managing the Baldwin Squash Academy club programs. The Assistant Squash Pro will:

  • Work and collaborate with the Director of Squash on the design and marketing of all Squash programs
  • Assist with the organization and direction of all Squash special events and weekly squash summer camps and clinics
  • Provide timely and consistent communication with all constituents
  • Assist with leadership and management of Baldwin Squash Summer Camps
  • Assist with the development of specific programs to enhance Lower School student involvement in squash
  • Availability for private and group squash lessons according to the School’s protocol

Work collaboratively with the Director of Squash on the following:

  • Leadership and management of the Interscholastic Squash Programs
  • Management of all levels of squash training
  • Development of Elite clinics and camps


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 year’s relevant experience coaching junior squash players at an elite level
  • Level 2 coaching certification or equivalent
  • Track record in program/club development and squash entrepreneurship
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Organizationally proficient, reliable and professional
