Students from six NUSEA programs have traveled to Colorado for the fourth annual Urban Doubles Championships this week.

The week includes a camp-style program with squash and extracurricular activities, which then culminates in the Urban Doubles Championships tournament Friday.

The campers have enjoyed a week of learning hardball doubles at the Denver Athletic Club through the tutelage of four doubles professionals—Preston Quick, Suzie Pierrepont, Graham Bassett and Victoria Simmonds.

The campers have traveled from Mile High Squash (Denver, CO), SquashSmarts (Philadelphia, PA), SquashWise (Baltimore, MD), StreetSquash (Harlem, NY), CitySquash (Bronx, NY) and MetroSquash (Chicago, IL).

When not on the doubles courts, the students have explored other areas of the Rocky Mountain state, traveling south to the United States Olympic Committee headquarters in Colorado Springs, visiting the garden of the gods, and going white water rafting. Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper will visit and hop on court with the campers Friday during tournament play.

CitySquash have swept all divisions in the previous three years of Urban Doubles. Follow the 2015 Urban Doubles Championships Friday on www.clublocker.com using the live scoring and player tracker features.
