The fifteenth annual Urban Team Nationals will attract 505 players representing eighteen Squash + Education Alliance programs from across the United States and Canada throughout the New York City area, January 19-21.

While much of the competition will take place on court across girls’ and boys’ U13, U15, U17 and U19 divisions, the students have taken part in scholastic competition through an essay competition.

This year’s essay topics include: ‘Students as Innovators’—What is a problem you’ve observed and an invention, app or or business you would design to solve it? and ‘Your Happy Place’—Where do you most feel like your authentic self? Where is your “happy place”?
